Toenail Reconstruction

The Foot and Nail Surgery are pleased to offer LCN Wilde Pedique – a toenail reconstruction technique that uses a fungal-resistant resin to treat and disguise damaged, uneven and fungal nails. LCN Wilde Pedique is lighter and more flexible than many other available products which often contain damaging acrylics.

LCN Wilde Pedique is applied as a gel over the existing nail and nail bed, the gel is cured with an ultra-violet light leaving a firm, new, natural looking nail to instantly boost your foot confidence. The nail is then smoothed and shaped to match existing nails. LCN Wilde Pedique comes in a range of neutral colours for a natural look or can be painted with nail polish if preferred.

The nail is hard wearing and will remain in place with normal daily activity for at least 4-6 weeks and sometimes much longer. You can wear the gel nail veneer continuously to disguise damaged, discoloured, or fungal nails until they have fully grown out. Alternatively, it can be used for short periods or special events and then removed by your podiatrist.

LCN Wilde Pedique can also be used during fungal nail therapy so your nails look great from the first day of treatment.
